Note 1: Caught in a rainstorm and died of Pneumonia
Note 2: Tom and his twin brother Bill were traveling on a wagon train
between Kentucky and Oklahoma- Arkansas Territory with thier
parents. They were five years old. The Indians were superstitious
and afraid to kill twins. Another tribe found the boys asked the
first names and found papers stating the last name of Lewis in the
wagon they were in.
Note 3: Tom and Bill were musicians. Bill played the guitar, and
Tom played the Fiddle.
